Lean Project Management Principles


Definitions of Lean: Lean System: emphasizes the prevention of waste extra time, labor or material spend that does not add value to the product or service.

Lean Enterprise: foster a company culture where employees constantly look to improve their skills levels and production processes. product and services are driven by the right amounts, to the right location, at the right time and in the right condition.
Definition of Project: A project is temporary in that it has a defined beginning and end in time, and therefore defined scope and resources. And a project is unique in that it is not a routine operation, but a specific set of operations designed to accomplish a singular goal.
