Becoming a professional in Project Management is an exciting yet challenging process. My journey has been defined by key career milestones and lessons learned, which I would like to share with you through a series of Linkedin publications on "Breaking into Project Management". I will try to answer the common questions that you may have, but also share with you key success tips and insights from my journey, which has been defined by the following experiences:
- Becoming a certified PRINCE2 Practitioner
- Being a Keynote speaker at international conferences for PMI, IPMA-YC and JCI on the topic of “Breaking into Project Management” and "Volunteer Project Management"
- Being part of the international IPMA Jury to select the next Young PM of the Year (2014)
- Acting as a PM Coach/Mentor for JCI THOE
- Contributing to PM interviews, blogs, podcasts and books (most recently to best-selling author Peter Taylor’s new book entitled "Real Project Management")
- Managing two successful international projects Quo Vadis and Your Future as a Volunteer Project Manager.
- Winning the IPMA Young project manager of the Year – Achievement Award in 2013
