Technician Advice Tip #1 - Increase Knowledge |
Knowledge is the basis for all skills and if our knowledge is not complete to a high percentage then the probability of introducing failures/defects into the maintenance activity is unknown. Write a work order and assign a maintenance technician to present a simple "Tool Box Talk" to their fellow maintenance techs.
If you are a maintenance technician and are frustrated with other techs knowledge and skill on your crew ask your supervisor to all you to present a 10-15 tool box talk on some subject you want to speak about and hopefully inspire others to want to speak up as well. If you need information on a specific topic or advice just ask and I will help (I am retired so I can provide advice)
Have a great day and let's stop equipment problems today.
